Meaning of Guru Poornima or Poonam: Guru or Master as name suggests it mean that identity

area or in physical areas. Guru Poornima mean the Master full moon. Yes it’s
the day of Full moon day on that night full and complete moon display in sky.

Guru is the personalities who lead us to the God, He teach us the real matter of

Why and when Guru Poonam or Poornima Celebrated : Guru Purnima or punam is totally dedicated
to Lord Vyas birthday, Lord Ved Vayas incarnated on the Full moon, either in
July or in August only. Lord Vayasa is the Great Omniscient sage and poet, He written
lot of ancient scriptures like Mahabharata before it happens, Division of Vedas
in four parts since then Vedas became 4 vedas. Therefore for the respect of
such great sage we celebrate its birthday as the Guru poornima or poonam.
